Super Fine Structure H601 Extrusion Profile

How to control the rough size of external rough grain ring and recrystallized grain of 6061 extruding bar or thick wall hollow bar is difficulty for extruded workers. The developed new alloy H601 is based on 6061; while it keeps the tensile strength the same as 6061, but avoids the rough size.

Rough grain is seriously influencing the extendibility of material, which may cause crack when processing edge folding parts (Fig. 1);

Cause stains after surface treatment; it is not applicable for products which have requirements on electric and magnetic property, such as arm of computer hard disc. (Fig. 2).

           

Our super fine structure H601-T6 bar and thick wall pipe can completely avoid above mentioned weaknesses. The grain size reaches 40-50μm.
